Continental Realty Group began in 1982 as Continental Realty Advisors – a pension fund advisor covering a nationwide investment platform. Over the last 10 years, Continental has grown into a fund sponsor taking its multi-family expertise into ownership and real estate fund executions. David Snyder’s expertise comes from more than 30 years of commercial real estate investment experience. During that time, he has overseen and managed a wide variety of real estate investment transactions.
Over the course of his career, David has directed real estate investment activities for pension fund, insurance, syndication, and private clients. He has also helped to liquidate and/or restructure the classified assets of syndication groups and financial and government institutions. He has purchased in excess of $2 billion in investments of commercial and multifamily real estate for his clients and sponsored investment funds. He is a member of the board of directors of the National Multi-Housing Council and serves of the board of several non-profit organizations.
David attended Colorado State University, where he studied Construction Management, Solar/Chemical Engineering, and Business Administration. He previously served in various capacities with Van Schaak and Company, Commonwealth Mortgage Company, Worldwide Exchange Group, and Snyder Investment Corporation, a real estate investment company he founded in 1979. He has two adult children and he and his wife currently reside in Littleton, Colorado.
Robert Ireland joined CRA in 2007 and served in various acquisition, research, and asset management roles until 2014 when he was appointed as CRA’s Director of Acquisitions. During his tenure at CRA, Robert has played a key role in identifying, negotiating, and closing more than $600MM in multifamily acquisitions across the country. As Director of Acquisitions, Robert is responsible for leading CRA’s acquisitions, due diligence, and research teams to identify markets which meet CRA’s investment criteria, uncover dislocations of value, conduct financial analyses, set accretive business plans, and negotiate and close transactions. Robert is also focused on building and fostering relationships with CRA’s various family office, individual, and institutional capital partners.
Graduating from Colorado State University in 2006 with a degree in Finance and Real Estate, Robert’s career has been focused in the multi-family industry with experience in both brokerage and acquisitions. He resides in Denver with his wife and two sons, and is an avid fly fisherman.
As the Managing Director of Asset Management for Continental Realty Assets (CRA), Todd is responsible for all assets in the portfolio post-acquisition. His prior experience increasing cash flows and enhancement of portfolio value is well documented over his multifamily career. In addition to managing the portfolio, he is also responsible for working with debt and equity partners, and contributes as a senior member of the due diligence team during property acquisitions.
Prior to joining Continental Realty Group in August 2016, Todd held executive positions with Aimco in their asset management and redevelopment departments, as well as headed up asset management for a private equity group specializing in multifamily and hospitality assets. Mr. Jobe holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in engineering from the University of Colorado, as well as an MBA from the University of Denver.
Jake Thorkildsen is CRA’s Chief Financial & Operating Officer. He first joined CRA in 2014 on the acquisitions team and has served in various roles over the years. He came to CRA with several years of commercial real estate and finance experience from Berkadia and C-III Capital Partners. He is involved in multiple operational areas including finance, accounting, partnership structuring, investor relations, research, acquisitions, due diligence, asset management, IT, and other business operations.
Jake graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BBA in Finance from the University of North Texas in Denton, TX in 2008. He has a passion for the outdoors, including soccer and “just about anything on two wheels”. He and his family currently reside in the Denver area.
Ryan Snyder works to generate development opportunities focused in workforce housing and opportunity zones. He has over 19 years of experience in multi-family real estate executions.
His career has spanned from $600 million in multi-family acquisitions, to asset management and redevelopment strategies and finally with various development initiatives.
Born and raised in Denver, Mr. Snyder has a BS / BA in Finance/Real Estate and Marketing from Colorado State University. He has completed several leadership programs within the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation. He is focused on construction innovation, creative development financing, affordable and workforce housing. Mr. Snyder is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and Housing Colorado.
Ryan also started an organization called FoundRising which works to bring clean water to people in rural Uganda.
Si Ellis joined the CRA team in January of 2018. His responsibilities include the identification and analysis of potential acquisitions, analyzing key economic data within CRA’s target markets, and providing assistance with the due diligence and deal closing processes. Si graduated from Miami University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Prior to joining CRA, Si was an analyst at Aimco in Denver. During his time at Aimco, Si worked in various departments including acquisitions, property operations, and redevelopment. Si currently resides in Denver, and is an avid skier, golfer and fly fisher.
Connor Crane joined the team in 2022 as an analyst, primarily working in asset management.
Connor graduated from McNeese State University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration where he also played baseball. Prior to joining our team, he worked in the property tax industry specializing in market research, appeals, and property valuation. In his free time, Connor enjoys golfing, skiing, coaching baseball and staying active.
Alana Silva joined the CRA team as its Controller in 2024. Prior to joining CRA, Alana had worked with the Denver based developer team, Urban Green Development, as their Controller and Partner. Alana oversees all corporate and property level accounting for CRA, including treasury management, compliance, and analysis in conjunction with our Asset Management team.
Alana is a UCLA honors graduate with more than 10 years of experience in real estate development, asset and corporate accounting. In her free time, Alana enjoys gardening and volunteering with local non-profit organizations. She and her chef husband reside in Westminster, CO with their two young sons and together own multiple restaurants in the Denver metro area.
Vadym Mogylevskyy joined the CRA team as its Controller in 2025. Prior to joining CRA, Vadym had worked with the New York based developer team, Halpern Real Estate Ventures, as their Financial Controller. Vadym oversees all corporate and property level accounting for CRA, including treasury management, compliance, and analysis in conjunction with our Asset Management team.
Vadym moved to the US in 1998 from Ukraine, came straight to Denver, and has lived in Colorado ever since. He has an MBA from UCD and more than 15 years of experience in real estate development, corporate and property accounting. In his free time, Vadym enjoys playing soccer and hockey, camping, fishing, hiking, skiing and snowboarding in winter, going to concerts, and just being outside in general. He and his wife reside in Aurora, CO with their young daughter and together love to explore Colorado’s mountains as much as they can.
David Schafer joined CRG in October 2025. His responsibilities include oversight of multifamily properties, budgeting and operating platform accounting, managing capital improvement projects, supervising third-party management, and performing market studies.
Prior to joining CRG, David worked in multifamily asset management, focusing on property operations, capital project management, and LIHTC developments. David graduated from Westminster College (PA) with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He is currently enrolled in a dual Master’s degree from the University of Denver, where he expects to graduate with a MBA and MS Real Estate and Built Environment in March ’26. David also previously served in the US Army as an Intelligence Analyst, serving 7 years Active and 3 in Reserves.
David currently resides in Golden CO, and enjoys traveling, listening and playing music, and taking advantage of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains.
